Trophy Option for 2012 Season.

Studio owners you can still option for a donation instead of group trophies in 2012. This year you have the option of having STAR SYSTEMS making a donation to either a) SUSAN G KOMEN FOR THE CURE, or b) ST JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL, instead of taking trophies&plaques for GROUPS only! Group dancers will receive ribbons, solos and duet/trios will receive ribbons&medals. We are really excited to give you this option! You can mark the charity of your choice on your teacher account any time prior to competition.

Make-up Contest!

We are inviting the REVEAL teachers to submit photos of two students: one age 9-12 and one age 13-17.

The photos must not be airbrushed or re-touched. We will be posting them on facebook to be voted on by STAR SYSTEM fans. You and your students will be able to post links on their pages to send people to vote on the Star Systems page. ONE in each group will be the winner.

The two winners will be flown to Hollywood for a make up class – by a Hollywood make up artist. This will be video taped for use in another BIG project announcement by STAR SYSTEMS.

You will be getting a more detailed letter stating the resolution of photos needed and other details later this week.

Every studio attending one of our 25th ANNIVERSARY NATIONALS will have their very own STUDIO BANNER hung all week, and lowered and presented to the studio owner during the plaque presentation!!! How Exciting to look up and see all the NATIONAL STUDIO BANNERS all week long!

Keep stopping by the website, as we post additional news for our 25th ANNIVERSARY TOUR.

At all 3 Finals we will be doing a SENIOR FAREWELL. We have always done something with our Seniors, however this year, will be something a little different and special for our 25th ANNIVERSARY. Every graduating senior is invited to participate, however, if you choose not to, that is fine. We are asking that you make a 45-60 second DVD: an introduction of yourself, how many years you have been dancing, what your immediate plans are (college, NY, LA, etc) with a collage of pictures or video of you dancing through life as a child. This is also a chance for you to thank friends, family and teachers. These DVD’S must be submitted by June 1st with the nationals you are attending clearly marked on the DVD, along with your name, and studio. Be creative, you can use some of your favorite songs as background for your pics and voice overs!!!
